Edorium Journal of Dermatology is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal which provides an international forum for the publication of scholarly articles in dermatology.
Aims and Scope
The scope of Edorium Journal of Dermatology covers clinical studies and experimental research in dermatology and related disciplines, including clinical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, geriatric dermatology, oncologic and aesthetic dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, cutaneous pathophysiology, skin biology, immunology and cell biology. Studies of pathobiology from experimental models and human material are also welcome.

Edorium Journal of Dermatology accepts for publication original Research Articles, Clinical Studies, Short Reports, Rapid Communication, Technical Reports, Protocols, Case Series, Case Reports, Clinical Images, Letter to Editors and Review Articles.
Editorial and Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to Edorium Journal of Dermatology undergo stringent editorial review followed by double-blind peer review. In the double-blind peer review neither the reviewers nor the authors know the identity of each other. This enables an unbiased and accurate review of the manuscript.
Acceptance Criteria
The journal accepts articles based only on scientific validity and methodological soundness with emphasis on research integrity and high ethical standards. We believe that if research is scientifically valid and technically sound then it deserves to be published for the research community.
Articles are not rejected based on any subjective determination of novelty of the study, impact in a given field, or degree of advancement to existing literature. Every article has option for post-publication discussion by the readers who are most qualified to judge the importance of any particular paper.
Open Access Publishing Model
Edorium Journal of Dermatology follows an open access publication model in which free full-text of all articles is globally accessible in multiple formats immediately on publication. The open access publication model is supported by Article Processing Charges. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles as soon as they are ready for publication.
Article Preservation
The articles published in Edorium Journal of Dermatology are archived in PORTICO which provides permanent archiving for electronic scholarly journals. The articles published in Edorium Journal of Dermatology are fully citable. Each article receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) which is unique for every article published in the journal and is used for easier referencing and archiving.
Article Dissemination
After publication all possible efforts are made to make every article the most highly visible article on its subject. The articles are actively disseminated to a global readership by sending Table of Contents to registered readers, submitting article to abstracting and indexing services, depositing the articles in open access directories, and including the article in RSS feed of the journal. Authors are welcome to submit review articles on topics of current interest and review articles which discuss a single topic in detail.
